Secretarial - Team Secretary

in London West End

One of the largest shareholding companies in the Country are looking to recruit friendly, professional and organised team secretaries.

Location: Euston

You need to be able to work under pressure and to strict deadlines with good communication skills and to work as a member of a team. Other personal qualities include the ability to use initiative, a positive outlook on work, persistence and a sense of humour. Essential skills are the use of Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook and possess reasonable typing abilities (45wpm +)
PURPOSE OF JOB

To provide secretarial and administration support to the Manager and his team.

2. PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES

2.1 Organise meetings and the production of supporting documentation.
2.2 Develop and maintain office practices that will allow management teams to become more effective.
2.3 Carry out general office administration duties and ensure that work processing and document distribution is carried out to a high standard. (This includes diaries, appointments, timesheets, expenses, car hire, travel arrangements and purchase orders.)
2.4 Assist in the maintenance of computerised databases as required.
2.5 Act as the minute taker for Line Managers, if required.
3. JOB CONTEXT
To meet the office based secretarial, clerical and administration needs of the Manager and his team, presenting a professional point of contact for customers to the department.

4. EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE, QUALIFICATIONS & TRAINING
ESSENTIAL
4.1 Good educational qualifications to “O” level or equivalent standard.
4.2 An aptitude for using computer based systems and techniques.
4.3 Recognised qualification in keyboard associated skills and office management techniques.

Two years previous secretarial experience is required.
